Re-roofing the 50,175-square-foot Queens Park Arena to extend its life and improve drainage.

Project Details

New Westminster’s Queens Park Arena, built in 1930, is a beloved community venue for hockey and events. Its aging roof had begun to leak and needed a complete overhaul. We removed the old roofing down to the deck, repaired structural elements where necessary and installed a new insulated membrane system across 50,175 square feet. Working on a heritage site meant preserving the building’s appearance and coordinating with city staff to minimise disruption to scheduled games and events. The new roof improves insulation and drainage while maintaining the arena’s classic profile, helping ensure that it remains a gathering place for years to come.
