The North Island Hospitals Project was the largest contract in our company’s history, encompassing both the Campbell River and Comox Valley hospital builds for a combined 776,700 square feet. Managing two sites simultaneously required careful coordination of labour, materials and equipment. Our crews installed multi‑ply membrane roofs with extensive insulation, parapets and curbs, integrating them with large mechanical penthouses and heliport structures. We worked closely with the health authority and general contractor to meet strict safety, infection control and quality standards. Completing the roofing and building‑envelope work on schedule contributed to the timely opening of these critical healthcare facilities.
