Providence Living at The Views is a 156‑bed dementia‑care village in Comox, designed around small household clusters that foster a sense of home. With a 123,415‑square‑foot footprint, the complex includes residences, kitchens, gathering spaces and gardens. Our task was to install the roof and building‑envelope systems that would keep residents comfortable and safe. We selected membranes and cladding materials that are durable yet unobtrusive and that work well with the village’s mass‑timber structure. Coordination with structural and mechanical trades ensured penetrations were properly flashed. The completed roof and wall system support the building’s welcoming design and help create a secure environment for residents and staff.
